In this portrait of Cebi, I have captured a moment in paint of curiosity, a point of deliberation as she looks up from her phone and simultaneously a point of connection with me, and you the viewer. Cebi and I have had many deep conversations about personal struggles, family ties and heartbreak and this is just one moment of many.
