Seated Contemplation

During the pandemic, to help me to connect with other creatives, I attended an online portrait club (Drawing Life Glasgow). Each week a different model posed live over Zoom, my favourite of these models was Luna. I painted ‘Seated Contemplation’ from the session reference photos as I wanted to capture Luna’s thoughtful calm, wonderfully contrasted with her sunny dress and unique jewellery.
