If you’re planning to commission a portrait, we can discuss your ideas, get to know each other, and arrange a portrait photoshoot with the two of you, or work from an existing idea or photo you already have.
We will decide on the final composition of the portrait together. I will then confirm the timeframe for your portrait, and you can expect to hear from me as the work progresses.
Once complete, your couples portrait will be yours to have and treasure forever.

How much does it cost to commission a couples oil portrait?
I know how valuable a portrait is and will work individually with you to make sure that we have the best option for you and your budget. All prices and sizes are a guide, once we've decided the reference photo I will provide a specific quote.
Initial deposit will be required, I have payment plan options available too.
Price guide:
Double portraits, oil on linen
30 𝑥 40cm | 12" 𝑥 16" Prices start from £2,500
Slightly smaller than lifesize, a good close-up for two-people
40 𝑥 50cm | 16" 𝑥 20" Prices start from £3,000
Personal headshot portraits or head & shoulders for two people
50cm 𝑥 60cm | 20" 𝑥 24" Prices start from £4,000
More detailed or complex compositions for head & shoulders to ½ body compositions of two people
70cm 𝑥 80cm | 28" 𝑥 32" Prices start from £5,000
Larger, impactful lifesize pieces, ½ or ¾ bodywith more opportunity to include environment in the composition
I am based primarily in Bristol and have a painting studio at The Island in the centre. I have travelled and would cover all over the south west of England to consult and deliver oil portraits to clients. This includes: Taunton, Bath, Gloustershire, Swindon, Frome, Cotswolds, Worcester, Herefordshire, Salisbury and Oxford.
