Oil & Acrylic Portrait Courses 2026

All materials are included in these courses, based at my painting studio at The Island in Central Bristol.

I run two different types of portrait courses: Oil Portraits and Painting Portraits, both courses are 6-weeks long.

My Oil Portraits course are for those who are at intermediate level and have had painted in the past and have some experience with colour mixing and want to push their painting skills to the next level.

The second course, Painting Portraits is perfect for those who are just beginning their painting portrait journey and who are wanting to know the starting foundation of how to mix colours, skintones and how to layer paint.

Upcoming Oil Portrait Course

Tuesdays- 21st April to the 26th May 2026.

All materials, hot drinks and light snacks are provided. It's £175 for the six weeks, and will be a great opportunity to learn as it’s going to be a small group of 5 people maximum in my painting studio.

This course is suitable for those with previous painting experience who want to level up their painting.
